He has Diploma in Optomety from Kasturba Medical College Hospital, Manipal. He graduated from Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal in the year 2006-2007. Following graduation he has worked at nethradhama eye hospital Bangalore as refractive surgery in charge and then completed Masters of Optometry Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed university medical college, Pune in the year 2011. Currently pursuing Phd from Maastricht University, Netherlands He is into the profession of teaching since 13 years guiding and mentoring the students and intern. He also published several article in optometry and allied health science journals. His core subjects that he teaches now are binocular vision, low vision, contact lens, eye investigation and diseases, visual optics and dispensing optics.
