Soumendra Nath Ghosh

He is a Masters of Optometry and serving as Head of Department of Optometry at NSHM Knowledge Campus under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology ( Formerly Known as WBUT) for 17 years . Apart from teaching and academic administration he is actively involved in guiding undergraduate and postgraduate optometry students.

He is a recipient of the UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) award as program leader in 2009. He was a visiting scholar to the Department of Optometry at Anglia Ruskin University, UK .He is also a recipient of Australian award fellowship in 2013 He is a member of Optometry Association of India and IACLE.

His academic and research interest is in Binocular Vision & perception, Pediatric Optometry & Vision therapy, Neuro-Optometry.
